Candy Allport, Office Manager and Expanded Function Dental Assistant

As the wife of Dr Allport, Candy has been with Today's Dental since the beginning. She was our first Expanded function Registered Dental Assistant. She received her RDA at Chattanooga State then continued on to receive her EFRDA through the University of Tennessee Health and Science in Memphis. Not stopping there she now is a member of AADOM and serves as Today's Dental Office Manager. Being from Dayton, Candy enjoys getting to serve her local community by helping them understand the importance of oral health and how it effects their overall health and life. Her and Dr Allport have 3 children and enjoy playing Pickleball and Tennis.

Stacey Blevins, Insurance/Treatment Coordinator

Stacey joined the Today’s Dental team in February 2022. She is the face you see when you walk in. She comes to us with years of dental insurance knowledge. She grew up in Chattanooga where she raised two beautiful daughters. She and her husband moved to Dayton in 2009. She is an active member of Walden’s Ridge Baptist Church, where she is the secretary of their AWANA ministry. In her spare time, she enjoys being with family, raising Border Collies and being “YaDee” to her precious grandson.

Yuribia Pascual, Scheduling / Treatment Coordinator and Spanish Translator

Yuribia Pascual started with Today’s Dental in August 2021. She is originally from Florida. She and her  husband was married in 2020 and moved to Tennessee since he’s originally from Dayton. She graduated with an Associates Degree in Business at South Florida State College. Outside of work they love hiking , enjoying Tennessee’s nature and spending time with their families in Tennessee and Florida.

Shemaya Dixon, Registered Dental Hygiene

Shemaya graduated from Chattanooga State Technical College in 1991 with her Associates of Applied Science in Dental Hygiene. She is certified to administer local anesthetic and nitrous oxide (laughing gas). She has worked in the dental field as a hygienist for 29 year and is passionate about helping her patients with their oral health care and creating a relaxed and productive hygiene appointment. 

Born in the Philippines she proudly took the Naturalization Oath of Allegiance to the United States of American in 1989. She stands during the nation anthem and salutes the flag in honor of the people who served and died to give her the freedom she enjoys. She is married, has 3 children and is a grandparent. Shemaya enjoys home life and spending as much time with her family as she can. She is dedicated to the Lord and is active member of First Baptist Church of Dayton.

Yuri Lopez, Registered Dental Assistant and Spanish Translator

Yuri joined the Today’s Dental team in 2020.  She became part of our team shortly after graduating from Chattanooga Technical College with her Associates of Applied Science. As our office translator, she is a native Spanish speaker and fluent in English. Helping the Hispanic community feel welcome and right at home with no language barrier. She’s lived in Dayton all her life and has grown up with three brothers. In her spare time she loves helping work at Delias in Soddy-Daisy, hiking, going on beach trips, coffee shops, white water rafting, shopping, and playing with her great pyrenee Ellie Mae!

Yuri se unió al equipo de Today's Dental en 2020. Es una de nuestras registradas asistentes dentales más nueva y la más joven. Se convirtió en parte de nuestro equipo poco después de graduarse de Chattanooga Technical College con sus Asociados en Ciencias Aplicadas. Como nuestra traductora de oficina, es una hablante nativa de español y habla inglés con fluidez. Ayudando a la comunidad hispana a sentirse bienvenidos y como en casa sin barreras idiomáticas. Ha vivido en Dayton toda su vida y creció con tres hermanos. En su tiempo libre, le encanta ayudar en Delias en Soddy Daisy, hacer caminatas, hacer excursiones a la playa, cafeterías, hacer rafting, ir de compras y jugar con su gran pirineo Ellie Mae!
